Ollie is getting so big and is so cute! He is talking more and more everyday. He is a smart little fella. When he sees a 2 he says two and when he sees a b he can say it too. He can count to 3.
He loves to unscrew lids. His toy of choice is a squirt bottle and he just twists on and off the tip.
He is always hitting balls around with a golf club or baseball bat.
He loves to play peek-a-boo.
He is always popping around a corner or through the stair railing and saying boo.
He fake yawns and coughs.
He loves to be chased, climb, wrestle.
He plays fetch with himself. He loves to throw a ball and go chase it.
He can climb up into our play place all by himself. He is a little daredevil. He is going to take up a lot of my time keeping him safe.
He is doing a little better now but he had a hard time going down the stairs once he learned how to walk. He refused to turn around and slide down on his belly. He would just start walking down and we would have to dive to save him. It was crazy! You couldn't turn your back on him for a minute. We don't like using the baby gates because Kadence gets frustrated with them and then learned how to take them down so they didn't to much good anyway.
He waves so cute and says bye. He says hello every time a door opens. He is always pretending he is talking on the phone. He hold stuff up to his ear and says hello and mumbles a bunch of cute baby talk. It is the cutest!
He can say: Shoes, socks, dada, baby, happy (those are my favorites), banana, hot, cheese, juice, hello, hi, bye, boo, frog, ball, duck, purple, doll, no, help, neigh, want this, want that, mama, Dana (my mom), dog, two, B, uh oh(says that all the time), bum, teeth, eyes, tongue. He has said I want to watch Dora, Mama. He can say want cheese, and want juice (he calls every drink juice).
He always gives hugs and snuggles and says awwww. If he is mean to Kadence I will tell him to give her hugs and say sorry and he will give her a hug and say awww. He loves giving kisses. Kadence and Ollie like to give night night kisses to each other. Kadence grabs his face to try to get on his lips but Ollie just leans in and makes kissy noises.
He loves to play on chairs. He loves little kid size chairs. It started at a young age and he is always climbing in them or on them and moving them around. He also loves being on couches or big chairs. He just giggles and runs around and dives into them and climbs all over them.
He hates his hair cut with an electric razor. I usually just give him a quick buzz, but he has meltdowns and it breaks my heart. So, we are letting his hair grow.
He has had a really hard time sleeping lately. He has always been easy for naps, but lately at night he has been waking up a lot. We went months with this, but now Nate and I are exhausted so we just stopped going to get him and letting him cry and it payed off. He sleeps a lot better now.
When he gets sad or frustrated he lays his head on the ground. It is so sad but I can't help but laugh a little. He also runs around stopping his feet when I don't let him get into stuff that he isn't supposed to be in.
He laughs when he pees without his diaper. It is too funny!
He is brave and will try anything.
He always wants to drink out of a real cup and not a sippy cup. He does really good, but I still don't like it.
My favorite mom moment was when I was bent down cleaning something and he came up behind me and gave me a hug and said awww and kissed my back. It was way too cute!
He calls flies bees. When they get in our house he points and says bee bee bee.
I was teaching Kadence a new knock knock joke and she was just ignoring me, but Ollie kept saying knock knock and boo. It was the one that ends with boohoo.
