We did the Antelope by Moonlight ride this year. It was really fun! You go out to Antelope Island and I think they start riders about 10:00pm. Then you ride 12 miles to a barn where they have snacks and water then ride back. It was pretty cool. The moon wasn't really out so it was way dark and all you could see is a bunch of headlights and tail lights. Then across the water you could see some city lights. It was peaceful and beautiful. I am really slow. I haven't been on a ride that far, ever. Nate told me it was going to be flat and it wasn't. It was fun though. We started riding about 11:00 and I took about an hour each way. So, we didn't get home until 2:00ish. It was very very crowded! There were so many people there. Poor Nate had his headlight battery die and so he was riding in pitch black on the way back. Anyway, it was fun and we are definitely doing it again next year. It got me excited to ride more.
