Kadence is growing up so fast! She is so smart and wild and crazy! We finally got her potty trained YAY! Well, pee trained. We are still working on the poop training. We were on and off trying before and got to the point that I was potty trained. She would go whenever I reminded her, but would have accidents if I didn't stay on top of it. We thought we had it under control then we went to Florida for my sister's wedding and so we gave up for awhile. I was hesitant to start up again then one day Kadence just started using the potty. After about a week she wasn't having any accidents. She pretty much trained herself. I did nothing. It was wonderful!
Kadence says the funniest things! She is always making us laugh. I locked Nate in Kadence's room one night and left the house. After that Kadence kept talking about mommy locking dad out and dad was sad.
She has quite the imagination. It is fun to watch her play. She plays with my fingers and names them after everyone. Kind of like finger puppets except for the puppets.
She loves to sing. She sings Camptown Races all the time these days. She loves to sing and play the piano.
She loves to play dolls and house. She got a baby doll house for christmas that she loves. it mixes her love of babies and doll houses. Grandma gave us a bunch of baby clothes and Kadence loves to dress the babies. She can sit for house dressing the babies then putting them to bed. She loves to play in her new kitchen. She sets her table and feeds her dolls. She also loves to play tea party. She makes quite a mess making concoctions.
She loves stuffed animals and uses them as babies.
She loves legos.
She doesn't like her brother so much. She is always stealing his toys, and pushing him. If she isn't doing that she is talking about stealing his toys and pushing him. She does cheer him up when he is sad by playing peek-a-boo or she says chill Ollie chill. She feeds him when he runs out of food. She has fed him a wad of toilet paper before and I didn't realize it until I went to nurse him and he wouldn't eat. As he was crying I saw the wad stuck to the top of his mouth.
She loves books! We read together all the time. We just started going to the library for story time and we check out a bunch of books while we are there and Kadence is in heaven. She loves all of the new books.
Kadence loves to cut paper. She loves shapes and has me help her cut out shapes. Then we get the glue out and she makes a mess gluing all of her shapes onto things.
She loves to color. She doesn't have a long attentions span when she colors, but she does stay in the lines really good for her age.
She loves to play with balls. We have a ton and she makes us get them all out everyday. I think Nate might throw them away one day.
