Kadence 22 months

Kadence is getting so big! She seems more like a little girl rather than a baby everyday. It doesn't help that she is very independent. She insists on doing everything herself including changing her diaper. We are talking about starting potty training because it is becoming quite the task to change her. I think she is about ready. She is getting sick of diapers and tells me every time she goes "potty". We bought her Dora panties and she is so excited about them. We wont try anything until after the baby is born, but we are getting her excited about it. Kadence also insists on giving up on the sippy cup. She is always trying to take off the lids and use real cups. I let her as long as she stays in one place. I don't let her wander without the tops on.

Some new things Kadence can do is. . .
-count to 20. She can count to 10 but after that she needs a little help. I say a number then she says the next number and back and forth.
-say her ABC's. It is kind of the same thing as her counting the higher numbers. I'll say a few letters then she will finish and back and forth.
-sing. She sings Twinkle Twinkle, Rock-a-bye Baby, Row Row Row Your Boat, and other songs like that. It's really cute because you only can understand the 1st couple words in each verse then the rest sound like the words, but aren't quite there yet.
-say "excuse me" after burps. She even fake burps sometimes just to say excuse me.
-say "oops" after someone farts.
