My family has been planning on taking the kids to ride the frontrunner train for a long time. We finally did it. We were a wild bunch 5 adults and 8 kids. It was my mom, and sister and her 2 kids, her friend and her 3 kids, me and my 1 kid, and my friend Julie and her 2 kids. My mom helped out with all the kids. She was awsome. She held a sleeping baby all the way there and one all the way back.
That morning I wasn't sure if we were going or not because the weather and people not feeling that well. I took a nap with Kadence and I woke up to a phone call saying, "We are here!". The "we" in that sentence included 5 wild kids. I hurried and got ready and we waited for Kadence and Max to wake up. By then the kids were hungry so we fed them all and then took off. My mom and I often have these little miscommunications. It all worked out though. We had a lot of fun. We rode up to Ogden and walked around the train station and had lunch. When we got back and stepped outside it started hailing on us. It was kind of funny. Kadence was wondering what was going on. It was her 1st hail storm. We ran to our cars and by then of course it stopped. Overall it was a fun little journey.
